Leadership

Paul Armstrong
Co-Founder and CEO, was born and educated in England. He attended Cambridge University where he earned Bachelorís and Masterís degrees in Engineering.

From 1981 until 2007, Paul was an executive at MICROS Systems, Inc., the market leader in hospitality technology. As Chief Technology Officer, he was responsible for the development of software solutions for restaurants, hotels, and stadiums, including some of the largest venues in the world. In 1991, he developed the first touch-screen based mobile device for stadiums and casinos, and in 2001, he led the team that built a hosted enterprise application that enabled over 25,000 restaurants, located around the world, to report real-time and highly detailed performance.

Currently, Paul resides in McLean, VA, with his wife and two children.

Alan Hayman
Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, is a native of Washington, D.C. and graduated from the Boston University School of Management. He joined Hayman Systems in 1974 and established the company as a leader in the point-of-sale industry. In 1999, Hayman Systems and its affiliates were acquired by MICROS Systems, Inc. where Alan became Executive Vice President. He retired from the point-of-sale business in 2006 after MICROS revenues grew to approximately $700 million

Currently, Alan serves on the Board of Advisors of Boston University School of Hospitality Administration. He resides in Potomac, Maryland and Aspen, Colorado with his wife.
